Allianz Travel Insurance plans can cover most existing medical conditions if you insure the full cost of your trip within 14 days of paying your first trip deposit and if you're medically able to travel when you do so.
That's why Allianz Global Assistance created the OneTrip Emergency Medical Plan. This low-cost travel insurance plan includes only post-departure benefits, such as emergency medical care and emergency medical transportation, so you can travel with complete peace of mind.
Your travel insurance should always include the following cover: medical expenses and cover for getting you home if you're injured or fall ill abroad. personal injury and cover for accidents or damage caused by you.
Emergency medical coverage is automatically included on all comprehensive travel insurance plans. This emergency medical coverage can work in conjunction with your health insurance, or in place of it, to help reimburse the cost of emergency medical care while traveling.
However, Allianz does not offer cancel for any reason (CFAR) coverage with any of its plans, an add-on that many other companies we've reviewed feature. It's also one of the pricier providers we've gathered quotes for, so if you're looking for a budget plan, Allianz may not be a good fit.
