What do we mean when we say that we design high-performing places? The definition depends on the priorities of our client. For Bishop Moore Catholic High School (BMC), we designed the Bishop Moore Center for Excellence to support the school’s continued academic and athletic excellence, reflect the school’s unique culture and identity, and successfully engage the valued BMC community. A multi-use facility, the Center is located on a previously underutilized space on campus and includes classrooms, fitness and training rooms, locker rooms, an athletic director office suite, and a tunnel providing access to the stadium field for the team’s traditional entry and exit.We also designed the facility to “bring alumni back to campus, back to their home,” as President Thomas Doyle noted on dedication day. With a 1,100-square-foot alumni center, a catering kitchen, event space, and a reception hall with two balconies overlooking sports fields, the Center is a hub for the active BMC community. The facility even includes a gift store where fans of all ages can indulge intheir favorite Hornets merchandise. The Bishop Moore Center for Excellence is now the most booked space on campus. It inspires maximum engagement and provides optimal community and financial value for the school—a high-performing place for high-performing people!#BishopMooreCenter #HighPerformanceDesign #AcademicExcellence #AthleticExcellence#CommunityEngagement#BMCStrong#HornetsPride#SchoolSpirit#CampusLife#InnovativeDesign#StudentSuccess#ArchitecturalExcellence#RLFaei

Interior design meets Project Runway! Last night, our talented team of interior designers participated in "Stitched," IIDA Florida Central Chapter's signature event for fashion and networking. During this event, teams are paired with manufacturers to create outfits using the vendors' products. Reflecting this year's theme of "Celestial Odyssey,” RLF was teamed with Formica Group North America and assigned the zodiac sign Capricorn and the element Earth. Drawing inspiration from Capricorn's connection to the planet Saturn, RLF's design used Formica’s DecoMetal line to embody a materialistic nature and a depict a fierce warrior spirit.Thank you to IIDA FCC for putting together such a fun event and to Muriel Holy and Manny Estrada of Formica for helping us create a great outfit!#iidaflcstitched2024 #InteriorDesign #ProjectRunway #IIDA #StitchedEvent #CelestialOdyssey #RLFDesign #Formica #CapricornDesign #EarthElement #DecoMetal #FierceWarrior #FashionAndNetworking #IIDAFloridaCentral #CreativeCollaboration #RLFaei
