My example would be that I like both Undertale and FNAF, contrary to the Vocal Minority. Also, I'm sure that there's a Silent Majority that would agree with me. Is that true (cause these tropes are based on the Vocal Minority)

I like both Terraria and Minecraft. (But I feel like Minecraft is heavily dependent on fun mods to be truly enjoyable, unless you play it simply to build) It honestly annoys me when the fanbase of either game makes unnecessary snarks at each other trying to prove their own game as "the best", when the two games are of completely different genres and objectives.

I also like both the first-era Need for Speed games(1994-2002), and the first few second-era NFS games(2004-2006, not including 2003's Underground 1). Although I do acknowledge and sympathize with first-era fans' frustrations over the franchise being derailed from its roots after Underground 1's release.

Sick of everything.

When do you like both works that are of fandom rivalries against each other? (4)If you like both, then how do you operate? And do you post your opinions on any of these game related sites at all?

Honestly, I feel conflicted about myself regarding those things. I can play Terraria and the first-gen NFS games just fine, but I feel guilty when I'm playing Minecraft and the second-gen NFS games. Sort of like I'm being a Category Traitor, and that there's someone observing me and judging me harshly for it. (Most often my mind. It's pretty much sentient and calls me out as an idiot for enjoying the latter.)

I almost completely refrain from posting my opinions on Terraria and Minecraft in places that aren't neutral, as the Fandom Rivalry is viciousnote. It got to the point that I felt uncomfortable being in certain Terraria communities at all because the bashing against Minecraft is too damn intense.

Interestingly, despite the Need For Speed community having a similar problem (first-gen fans bash on second-gen a lot, while second-gen fans either are completely unaware about that, or also love the first-gen games), I find it much easier there in this aspect because hardcore first-gen fans are often not on those communities, instead having mostly fourth-gen fans who are simply not interested in the older games, second-gen fans who don't care about other games, and fans of both first and second-gen gamesnote. Instead, the bashing is focused against fourth-gen games.

Sick of everything.

While the Fandom Rivalry between these two anime Idol Singer group franchises are probably minor when compared to other fandom rivalries, I happen to like both The Idolmaster and Love Live! and their respective spinoffs, despite having watched iM@S first.

It helps that the main 765Pro idols and µ's had that crossover concert during 2015's Animelo Summer Live, one of those rare moments of truce between two rival fandoms. (I'm hoping that the main 346Pro idols and Aqours will also do something similar in the future.)

Also, I'm an unabashed Marvel Cinematic Universe fan (since Iron Man back in 2008), but I loved Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse (to the point that Quicksilver was one of the saving graces of the movie—the other being Olivia Munn as Psylocke). And don't get me started on Deadpool (2016)... I enjoyed it as much as Guardians of the Galaxy, for crying out loud! (Though the whole Fox X-Men - MCU rivalry might be moot now that Disney is set to acquire Fox.)

Personally, I've started to look at Fandom Rivalry as a pretty petty thing, something that doesn't deserve to escalate to the worst extremes. If it's possible to enjoy both competing franchises/platforms/products/etc., then why not?

Well, I was both a Homestuck and Hetalia fan back when they had some kind of fandom rivalry (still am a fan of both, just that there doesn't seem to be much of a "fandom rivalry" anymore) if that counts? I just liked the stuff I liked without that affecting my like for anything else.In general, when it comes to fandom rivalries I never saw a reason you should just like one, or hate another series because you liked its "rival". Especially if the two series were completely unrelated - I guess I can see WHY (even if I certainly don't agree) if the two series are very similar and one seems to be "taking over" for or being way more popular than the others

In general I try to not really pay much attention to fandom rivalries and especially resulting drama from that, I just enjoy the stuff I like - and if two series happen to have a lot of things I like in common... I'm likely to just get into both

shouldn't his favorite genre be RPG and not point and click though

I like both Skyrim and Dark Souls, but I'm not actually aware of any fandom rivalry between the two, despite what our article says.

Or are all Terraria/Minecraft sites vandalised to fit in one side's favour?

I like both science fiction and fantasy. Honesty I don't see much of a difference in the two genres. Stuff that could never happen IRL happens in both, the only difference is SF tries to present itself as somewhat possible while fantasy fully accepts it's all made up.

Apparently this version of Hyde looks like a Jojo's character.According to people who have seen that anime and I guess understand it.

Fandom Rivalry doesn't interest me. I'm the type of person that either likes both works/groups/whatever or doesn't care for either side.
